Dear amigos, two hundred years ago, Guatemala city witnesses a significant milestone in Central American countries’ history. It was the 15th of September of 1821 when a delegation of officials from Guatemala, El Salvador, Honduras, Costa Rica, and Nicaragua signed the Central America Declaration of Independence. This year, we are commemorating this event with Dos Cientos.

Doscientos is a limited-edition smoke that carries in its essence a little bit of shared history, shared hopes, dreams, and a lot of passion for life. Within August, 2,000 21-count boxes of the Dos Cientos will be available. For this special occasion, one cigar in every box will come wrapped in paper for a virtual bicentennial party.

These cigars are made with a multi-country blend and deliver a medium-bodied smoke:

“Tobacco was ever-present as we created our own economic, political and cultural identities. We want to celebrate that achievement of our own birth as a country and as a region. Therefore, we’re showcasing tobaccos from different American countries: Nicaragua, Honduras, Mexico, Ecuador, and the Dominican Republic.” Stated Dr. Alejandro Martínez Cuenca, Chairman of JDN.

This masterpiece is part of our Obras Maestras, Joya de Nicaragua’s designation for its ultra-premium family of cigars.
