Dear amigos, last year we introduced our daring Antaño CT. This new member of our Antaño family may seem tamer than its bolder Antaño siblings, but don’t let it fool you. This Joya de Nicaragua cigar is an interpretation of what a Connecticut wrapped cigar should be. As a result, it has already become a favorite among cigars smokers and the industry specialized media. Recently it was selected as part of Cigar Aficionado’s “The 16 Best Cigar You Need for the Fall”. Take a look at what they have to say!

“Covered in light Connecticut-seed wrapper from Ecuador, this robusto is a milder blend in Joya’s spicy Antaño brand. However, the Antaño Connecticut brings it home with medium-full flavors of rum and chocolate from its Nicaraguan filler.”

Antaño CT: Tasting Notes by Cigar Aficionado

“Rolled in a gleaming wrapper, this robusto shows a lively, sweet-and-spicy interplay of graham cracker, red and black pepper and some boozy, rum barrel notes. A touch of dark chocolate appears as well. The draw and burn are even.”

About our daring cigar

Antaño CT uses an Ecuadorian Connecticut Shade wrapper with Nicaraguan fillers and binder. This blend delivers a medium to full body and strength, with dynamic creaminess and intense spicy notes. It is intentionally pungent to showcase the contrasts between the expected subtleties of the CT shade, and the rich and potent flavors of Nicaraguan tobacco. It comes in 20 count boxes, in 4 different sizes.
